It's rewarding to see a local band doing something right. After the release of their first EP in 2003, San Francisco-based Smith Point was featured on the WB's One Tree Hill, national CBS television and XM Satellite Radio. This summer, Smith Point will release their highly-anticipated second EP entitled Prospect Street. Armed with big choruses, tight rhythms and an energetic live show, Smith Point is defining the new, prolific San Francisco rock sound.

One Tree Hill! I watched that show like twice. The music did seem to be very effective though.

Smith Point is the best! They have great music and put on an entertaining show. They've even had a song featured on One Tree Hill. Very cool.
